How do I book a bike bag? 

It's easy! Simply select your required pick-up and drop-off dates in the calendar on our homepage. If the bag is available, you can proceed to the secure checkout to confirm your booking and payment.

What is the $300 security bond?

The security bond is a standard practice for hiring equipment. It's a temporary hold to cover any potential significant damage, loss, or late return of the bag. All our payment processing is done using Stripe, to ensure the highest security standards.

What happens if the airline damages the bag? Will I lose my bond?

Absolutely not. We understand that travel involves third-party handlers. The security bond is not for damage that occurs while the bag is in transit with an airline - it is to ensure that you return the bag. We kindly ask that you inspect the bag for any significant new damage before leaving the baggage claim area at your destination airport. If you do notice any damage, please take photos to share with us, and report it to the airline's baggage service desk immediately. This documentation is for our records.

When will my security bond be refunded?

We process your refund within 3-5 business days of the bag being returned on time and in good condition. We pride ourselves on returning this to you as quickly as possible.

What is included in the hire cost?

The hire cost includes the EVOC Road Bike Bag PRO and all its internal parts, including the bike stand, frame pad, and wheel bags.


The Bike Bag

Will my bike fit in the EVOC bag? 

The EVOC Road Bike Bag PRO is designed for most modern triathlon, road, and gravel bikes. The key measurement is the maximum wheelbase, which is 112 cm. Please check your bike's wheelbase before booking to ensure it will fit.

Is it difficult to pack the bike?

Not at all! It's surprisingly easy and intuitive. You'll only need to remove your wheels and pedals. We highly recommend watching a quick video tutorial on YouTube before you pack for the first time to see how simple it is.

Do I need to change my saddle or handlebar settings?

No, and that's one of the best features of this bag. The included bike stand allows you to mount your frame securely without adjusting your carefully dialed-in saddle height or cockpit setup.

What tools will I need to pack my bike? 

You will need the tools required to remove your pedals (usually a 15mm pedal spanner or an 8mm Allen key) and your wheels. It's a good idea to pack these tools with you for reassembly at your destination.


Pick-up & Returns

Where is the pick-up and drop-off location? Our convenient pick-up and drop-off point is located in South Melbourne. There is plenty of street parking. We operate from our residential address, so the full address and collection instructions will be provided in your booking confirmation email.

Will the empty bag fit in my car when I pick it up? 

Yes. When empty, the bag is semi-collapsible. With the back seats down, it will fit easily into most cars, including hatchbacks and sedans.

What do I need to bring to pick-up? 

Please bring a valid photo ID (like a Driver's Licence) that matches the name on the booking confirmation.

Do you offer a service to pack my bike for me? 

We generally do not offer a packing service as part of our standard hire. The EVOC bag is designed to be very intuitive and easy for you to pack yourself. However, if you are feeling unsure or are in a tight spot, please email us after you've made your booking. We'll see if we can accommodate your request based on our availability, for a fee.

Can you deliver the bike bag to my house or hotel? 

Our standard service includes a convenient pick-up and drop-off from our location in South Melbourne. We do not offer a personal delivery service. However, if you are unable to collect the bag, we can arrange to have it sent to you via a service like Uber Courier at your own expense. Please contact us directly to coordinate this, as it requires precise timing.


Cancellations & Travel Changes

What is your cancellation policy?

We understand plans can change.

  • More than 14 days before pick-up: Full refund, minus a small processing fee.
  • Less than 14 days before pick-up: 50% refund or a full credit towards a future hire

Can I extend my hire period if I'm already travelling? 

Yes, provided the bag is not already booked by another customer immediately after your original return date. Please contact us as soon as possible to arrange an extension. Additional hire fees will apply.

My return flight was delayed. What should I do? 

We understand that travel delays happen. Please contact us as soon as you know you will be late. We are happy to accommodate minor delays, but significant extensions may incur an extra daily hire fee. Communication is key!
